About Steven

From his earliest memories, Steven’s father was always building or remodeling their house, adding on, building a barn, or something of that nature. Steven began nurturing his own interest in Junior high. He started by building furniture in wood shop, light fixtures in metal shop, and an assortment of items in plastics. By high school, he was in metal shop creating jewelry, learning architectural drafting, and taking auto shop. His endeavors resulted in an industrial arts honor award.

Just after high school he began framing custom homes all over Southern California. In the 80’s, he moved into architectural millwork on homes that he was framing including architectural finish work, wood floors, staircases, doors, and windows.

In the 90’s, he added carving to his repertoire and began experimenting with new material combinations, giving his masterfully engineered and fabricated designs the fine artistic details you can see in his work today.
